Durham program providing stipend to ex-offenders sees success

Nonprofit StepUp Durham provided data on how its guaranteed basic income program doing since launching in March.

DURHAM, NC - Today, the initial spending and demographic results of Excel, Durham’s guaranteed income pilot were rolled out as part of a major, nationwide step forward for the guaranteed income movement.

Durham Neighbors, StepUp Durham, and the City of Durham on August 20th, 10am - 1pm, at Ninth Street Bakery gathered and shared food, fun, and stories of guaranteed income in our city.
