Nakeeta Tharpe

I'm Nakeeta Tharpe, a wife and a mother of four young adults three whom I birthed and one that was engrafted in, I'm also a grandmother of three under three. My family and I attended and graduated from StepUp's Job Week program, where we received invaluable support in job readiness, confidence, and empowerment. Thanks to StepUp's Success Coaches and the ENER-G program, two of my children are now gainfully employed, while two others are pursuing certificates in Biotechnology through StepUp's partnerships. I will forever be grateful for the skills, confidence, and empowerment that StepUp has poured into us and the Impact has ultimately led me to where I am today.

As the new Step 2 Coordinator/Success Coach, I'm enthusiastic about contributing to StepUp's mission of empowering individuals and fostering community growth. I'm particularly excited about facilitating programs that equip participants with the skills and confidence they need to succeed personally and professionally.

I'm grateful for StepUp's impact on my family and me, and I'm eager to pay it forward by helping others on their journey to success.
