Durham Excel Pilot Program Expected to Launch in January 5th 2022

Hope you are well and enjoying the holidays, all things considered! As 2021 comes to a close, we are eager to share our End of Year Report with you highlighting our collective work over the past year -- since launching, we have grown from 11 mayors to 63, across 26 states, representing 24 million Americans. More than a dozen pilots have already started disbursements, and several more will do so at the beginning of 2022. In total, the coalition will provide more than $100 million in direct, unconditional cash support to constituents.

Thank you for your commitment to this work, which is more important than ever as the pandemic resurges and families may lose a critical lifeline of support through the CTC. We look forward to doubling down on our efforts with you in 2022, through planned advocacy and narrative work, and continuing towards our North Star: a federal guaranteed income.
